Girls of Leadership is an organization founded  in 2010, whose mission is tospark creativity, build leaders, ignite change. A  team of women meet with over 30 girls a month to teach, encourage, inspire and hold girls accountable for achievement. This is done in a safe, nurturing, experiential environment, rich with knowledge, love, excitement and expectations.

 

The origins of the vision started with spending some quality time with girls who were at the crossroads of childhood and adulthood who needed some guidance. By mid 2011 the sessions, where girls could come, be nurtured, ask questions, be creative and just be girls, were offered to the public. To date, Girls of Leadership has served over 400 girls, pushing them toward their full potential and exposing them to a wide array of creative and intellectual pursuits.

 

Each session gives the girls new skill sets to enable them to push beyond their boundaries. There is a formula to Girls of Leadership: take a girl, give her compassion, positive experiences, a vote of confidence, set high expectations and you get a remarkable girl whose trajectory is utterly limitless.
